After all the excitement of the actual move faded, it was replaced with an overwhelming sense of home-sickness. I suddenly felt very far away from home and alone. Email has allowed me to keep in touch with friends and family...and with Skype, I can even see them once in awhile on the video chat. Keeping in touch really helped me through that transition phase before you establish social circles in your new home. Good tip IntlMOVE! Staying in touch is sooooo important!
